...When fairies die, their souls transfer to rare, mystical gems known as "Fairy Stones". Fairy stones are usually found beneath the roots of old, wise trees in magical marshes where it is quiet and cool enough for the fairy stones to sleep in peace. To retrieve a fairy stone, one cannot just simply pluck a stone from its hearth. If awoken, fairy souls will flutter off in search of a more preferable place to sleep. Silence and steady, cool hands are in order in order for the souls to remain asleep.
Alchemists frequently have obtained a use for these peculiar stones for a newly discovered experimentation known as "Fairy Golems".
To create a fairy golem, a high level of skill is required for an alchemist. First, the alchemist must carefully construct a miniature vessel using various magic-folk material. Next, the vessel must be carefully placed within a fairy circle along with a single fairy stone possessed by a fairy’s soul. A sacred resurrection ritual that is most common to the magic-folk must be performed in order for the fairy soul to be safely transferred into the vessel. Perfection of the vessel is in order for such a feat to be accomplished, for fairy souls are rather critical to what body they will be possessing. Flaws and blemishes will cause the soul to flutter away. Once the ritual is complete and the transfer is successful, a fairy golem is born.
Take note that fairy golems are highly curious and have a passion for learning. Unlike normal fairies, fairy golems are extremely timid and shy and are most likely to not cause mischief amongst mortals. Fairy Golems have the same lifespan and attributes as normal fairies, and are just as qualified as normal fairies to use their magic for whatever purpose they please; however, fairy golems are more sophisticated and well behaved than the average fairy, thus making them a small percentage more skillful.
When a fairy golem dies, the fairy soul does not return to a fairy stone, but rather vanishes without a trace being truly and permanently dead...
